Lithopolis is a small Ohio town about 20 miles southeast of Columbus, accessible via US Route 33 to State Route 674. Most visitors come from Columbus for the short commute, while long-distance travelers often arrive via Rickenbacker International Airport, 15 miles northwest. The town gets its name from 19th-century limestone quarries, and you can still spot old stone foundations from the quarrying days scattered around the community.
