Lisbon is a tiny farming town of 373 people in Kendall County, about an hour southwest of Chicago via I-55 and US Route 34. The village sits along the Fox River in rolling prairie country. Most visitors arrive on US 34, which runs right through town, or IL Route 71 from the north. The 1917 grain elevator still towers over Main Street and remains in operation today.
