Linn is a small county seat in central Missouri's rolling hills, about 45 miles southwest of Jefferson City via Highway 50. Most visitors arrive on Highway 50, which connects to major routes from Columbia, St. Louis, and Kansas City. The town sits in typical Missouri River valley terrain with a humid continental climate. The 1904 red brick courthouse with its prominent clock tower anchors the historic downtown square.
