Lighthouse Point is a waterfront city on Florida's Atlantic coast, accessible via Federal Highway (US-1) and the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge. Take I-95 Exit 42 to Hillsboro Boulevard, then head east about three miles. The scenic A1A coastal route also connects to residential areas. Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is eight miles away. The city's namesake is the 1907 red brick Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, which still operates with its distinctive flashing white beacon.
