Liberty is a small county seat in south-central Kentucky, located where US Highway 127 meets KY Route 70. The town sits about 45 minutes from Interstate 65 and serves as a hub for the surrounding rural communities. Most visitors arrive via US 127 from the north or KY Route 70 from Somerset to the southeast. The centerpiece is the historic 1883 courthouse with its distinctive clock tower that's been keeping time for over 140 years.
