Liberty is Union County's seat in southeastern Indiana, just west of the Ohio line. Take State Road 44 through town, connecting to I-70 from Indianapolis (60 miles west) or US 27 from Cincinnati. Richmond Municipal Airport sits 15 miles southeast for fly-in visitors. The historic courthouse with its 1889 clock tower still keeps time on the town square.
