Leonard is a tiny Missouri farming community of 35 people in Shelby County, about 15 miles northeast of Shelbina. Reach it via Highway 15 from Shelbina or county roads connecting to US 36. The nearest major highway access is US 36, linking to Hannibal (40 miles east) and Macon (35 miles west). The village's 1887 post office still operates from its original Main Street location.
