Leonard is a tiny farming community in northern Oakland County, about 50 miles northwest of Detroit via M-15. With just 350 residents, it sits among rolling hills, small lakes, and working farms typical of rural Michigan. Most visitors arrive on M-15 from the south or take US-23 to M-59 west then north on M-15. The historic grain elevator still dominates the small downtown area.
