Leon Valley is a small city completely surrounded by San Antonio, accessible via Interstate 410 exits at Bandera Road and Evers Road. The main route through town follows Bandera Road north-south, connecting to Loop 1604 for regional travel. San Antonio International Airport is 12 miles away via Highway 151. Despite covering just 8.9 square miles, Leon Valley maintains its own police force, making it one of Texas's smallest incorporated cities by area.
