Lenox is a farming town of 1,569 people in southwest Iowa, sitting on Highway 34 about 75 miles from Des Moines. Take Highway 69 south to Osceola, then Highway 34 west to reach it. The 1904 brick courthouse with its working clock tower dominates the town square and has been keeping time for residents for over 120 years.
