Leigh is a farming community of about 440 people in east-central Nebraska, 20 miles northwest of Columbus on Highway 15. Visitors typically arrive from Omaha (70 miles southeast) or Norfolk (45 miles north) via the historic Lincoln Highway. The town features one of the region's last original railroad-era grain elevators, a concrete tower visible for miles across the surrounding cornfields.
