Leeton is a small farming town in west-central Missouri, 60 miles southeast of Kansas City via US Highway 50. The main routes are Highway 50 east to Sedalia or west to Warrensburg, and State Route 13 running north-south through town. It's home to just 660 residents in Johnson County's agricultural heartland. Whiteman Air Force Base, famous for housing the B-2 stealth bomber fleet, sits 12 miles northeast.
