Leedey is a small farming town in western Oklahoma's wheat country, reached via US Highway 183 and State Highway 51. Most visitors drive from Woodward (25 miles north) or take Highway 51 west from I-40. The town of 400 sits in rolling plains with a continental climate of hot summers and mild winters. The historic 1920s grain elevator still dominates the skyline and serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles.
