Lebanon sits in Oregon's Willamette Valley, 75 miles south of Portland via I-5 and Highway 20. This gateway to the Cascades serves travelers heading to Detroit Lake and Mount Jefferson Wilderness areas. The Santiam River flows through town, and the surrounding valley produces berries and other crops. Lebanon hosts one of Oregon's oldest strawberry festivals, with a parade running continuously since 1909.
