Lead Hill is a small Ozark community of 320 people in Boone County, reached via Highway 14 about 15 miles northeast of Harrison. Visitors typically drive from Harrison or approach from Missouri via Highway 65. The town sits among forested hills where lead mining once flourished, and you can still spot old mine shafts in the surrounding woods.
