Le Sueur lies 60 miles southwest of Minneapolis along Highway 169, serving as Le Sueur County's seat. The most popular route from the Twin Cities follows Highway 169 south through Jordan and Belle Plaine, while regional travelers use Highway 93 east-west or connect via Highway 14.
