Le Roy is a small farming town in central Illinois, about 20 miles southeast of Bloomington-Normal via I-74 and Route 150. The town sits in flat prairie country with a population of 3,200. Main access is I-74 Exit 149, connecting to Route 150 east-west and Route 165 north-south for local travel. The restored 1903 Opera House downtown still hosts live performances with original hand-painted ceiling murals.
