Lawrence is a tiny farming town in south-central Nebraska, sitting along Highway 14 about 15 miles from the Kansas line. Most visitors arrive via Highway 14 from Superior to the north or connect through county roads from US-136 to the south. The town serves the surrounding agricultural area in the Republican River valley. Its towering grain elevator has been a prairie landmark for over 50 years.
