Laurel Run is a small borough in Pennsylvania's Wyoming Valley, home to fewer than 500 people along the Susquehanna River corridor. Most visitors drive from nearby Wilkes-Barre via Routes 11 and 309, about 10 miles away, or from Scranton using Interstate 81 south to Route 11. The community sits amid rolling hills covered in deciduous forest, and it's named for the mountain laurel that creates stunning white and pink blooms on the surrounding slopes each spring.
