Popular routes include quick trips to Fort Lauderdale beaches (15 minutes east) and longer drives to Miami or Palm Beach (45 minutes each direction). The city is notable for hosting major cricket matches at Central Broward Regional Park, one of America's few dedicated cricket venues.
