Latimer is a small farming town of 681 people in north-central Iowa's Franklin County. Take US-65 north from Des Moines (90 miles) or south from Mason City (45 miles). State Highway 3 provides east-west connections to Hampton and Eagle Grove. The historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields, visible from miles away across the flat Iowa landscape.
