Lastrup is a tiny farming town in central Minnesota with just 88 residents. Highway 10 provides the main access, connecting to Little Falls 15 miles east and continuing toward Wadena. County Road 35 runs north-south through town. Most traffic comes from Little Falls or St. Cloud, about 45 miles southeast via Highway 10 and I-94. The town centers around its historic grain elevator.
