Take US 85 south from Denver through Littleton, or access it from I-25 via connecting roads like County Road 105. The area sits at 6,000 feet where the plains meet the foothills, experiencing Colorado's sunny high desert climate. It's home to the Colorado Renaissance Festival grounds, which becomes an elaborate medieval village with jousting tournaments every summer weekend.
