Larimore is a farming town of about 1,240 people in eastern North Dakota, 20 miles west of Grand Forks on US Highway 2. The drive takes you through endless wheat and soybean fields across the flat Red River Valley. Highway 18 runs north-south through town, connecting to rural communities. The town's 120-foot grain elevator, built in 1929, can be spotted from miles away across the prairie.
