Landis is a small Rowan County town along US Highway 29, about 30 miles north of Charlotte and 15 miles south of Salisbury. Most visitors pass through on US 29 or connect via State Route 152 from Mooresville and Lake Norman. The restored 1898 Landis Depot serves as the town's historic centerpiece and local museum.
