Lancaster is a small farming town of 325 people in northeast Kansas, about 10 miles north of Atchison on US-73. Most visitors arrive via US-169 from Kansas City (45 miles) or US-24 from Topeka (55 miles). The town sits near where Lewis and Clark camped along the Missouri River during their 1804 expedition west.
