Lamont is a small farming town of 300 people in north-central Oklahoma, about 90 miles from Oklahoma City via I-35 north to US-412 west to US-81 north. Most traffic runs the 15-mile stretch south to Enid on US-81 for work and shopping. The town's massive grain elevator dominates the prairie skyline and still serves local wheat farmers.
