Lamoni is a small college town in south-central Iowa near the Missouri border, home to Graceland University and about 2,200 residents. US Highway 69 runs north-south through town, connecting to I-35 about 20 miles east. Most visitors arrive via Highway 69 from Des Moines or Kansas City, with a Tesla Supercharger at the local Casey's for electric vehicles. The Community of Christ Temple's striking 300-foot spiral spire dominates the skyline.
