Lakeside is a tiny Pennsylvania community of under 100 people in Susquehanna County near the New York border. Reach it via State Route 171, about 45 miles north of Scranton via Interstate 81. The area features rolling hills, dairy farms, and woodlands typical of Pennsylvania's Northern Tier. The town gets its name from the small lakes and ponds scattered throughout the glacially carved landscape.
