Lakemore is a small Summit County city of 2,900 people located just southeast of Akron via I-76 Exit 18. Most visitors use I-76 from Cleveland (35 miles) or the Ohio Turnpike connections for regional access, while State Route 619 handles local traffic through town. The 1922 Lakemore Elementary School building still serves as city hall and community center.
