Lake Villa sits along the Wisconsin border about 45 miles northwest of Chicago, accessible via I-94 north to Route 173. This Lake County community of 8,700 connects to surrounding areas through US Route 45 and Route 120. The rolling terrain features several lakes and wetlands popular with Chain O'Lakes visitors. Deep Lake Park maintains one of northern Illinois' few public inland swimming beaches on its 40-acre lake.
