Lake Riverside is a small rural community in Riverside County's San Jacinto Valley, surrounded by mountains and horse properties. Highway 79 runs through the center, with Highway 74 from Hemet being the main western approach and Highway 371 connecting from the east. Most visitors arrive via I-215 through Murrieta and Hemet, about 45 minutes from major cities. The community centers around a small fishing lake popular with bass and bluegill anglers.
