Lake Forest is a planned community in Orange County's foothills, about 15 miles inland from the coast. Take I-5 to El Toro Road, Lake Forest Drive, or Bake Parkway exits for direct access. The 241 toll road connects east to Irvine and Newport Beach. John Wayne Airport is 12 miles northwest via the 5 and 405 freeways. The city features two man-made lakes with beaches and boating in the middle of suburbia.
