Lahoma is a small farming town of about 485 people in north-central Oklahoma, located right on US Highway 81 about 15 miles north of Enid. It's a straight drive from Oklahoma City (100 miles via I-35, I-40, and US-81) or from Wichita (80 miles south on US-81). The town sits in classic wheat country with rolling prairie stretching in all directions. Its towering 1920s grain elevator still operates today and serves as a landmark for travelers on the highway.
