Ladora is a small farming town in eastern Iowa, about 25 miles southwest of Cedar Rapids along Highway 21. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 80, exiting at Marengo and heading west on Highway 21. The town sits amid typical Iowa corn and soybean country with gently rolling fields. Ladora still operates one of the state's few remaining one-room schoolhouses that's actually in use.
