Ladonia is a small farming town in northeast Texas, about 80 miles from Dallas along US Highway 82. Most visitors arrive via US 82 from Paris (15 miles west) or take I-30 to Greenville, then US 380 north. The town sits in rolling East Texas countryside and centers around a historic courthouse building from 1889 that once served as city hall when Ladonia was briefly a county seat.
