Interstate 80 runs along the city's northern edge, making it easily accessible for cross-country travelers, while Highway 85 provides north-south connections. The area sits on rolling prairie with a continental climate. La Vista is home to Nebraska's largest Walmart Supercenter at 230,000 square feet.
