La Grange is a small Mississippi River town in northeast Missouri, about 20 miles from Hannibal via US 61. State Route 16 runs east-west through town, connecting to Canton and crossing into Illinois. The area features rolling hills and river bottomland with a continental climate. Most trips are local runs to Hannibal or longer drives to Quincy, Illinois. The town operates the Golden Eagle Ferry, the oldest continuously running Mississippi River ferry since 1853.
