Kuttawa is a small lakeside town in western Kentucky that serves as Lyon County's seat, positioned right on Lake Barkley's shores. Take I-24 to Exit 45, then US 62 into town. The main route from Louisville runs about 200 miles via I-264 west to I-69 south to I-24 west, while Nashville is roughly 100 miles northwest on I-24. The town's main street literally dead-ends into Lake Barkley, with the city dock extending directly from downtown into the water.
