Kuna is a growing city of 27,000 in southwestern Idaho, about 20 miles from Boise via Highway 69. It's become popular with families wanting space outside the city while staying connected to Boise's job market. The town sits in high desert farmland with hot summers and mild winters. Kuna calls itself the "Gateway to Birds of Prey" for the nearby Snake River conservation area that hosts the world's densest concentration of nesting raptors.
