Krum is a small north Texas city about 45 miles northwest of Dallas in Denton County. Take I-35W north from Fort Worth, then US 380 west, or connect via Denton from Dallas. The town of 6,200 sits in prairie country with hot summers and mild winters. Highway 156 runs through the center, connecting to nearby communities. Krum Fun Days each September features a parade down the historic main street that's barely changed since the early 1900s.
