Krugerville is a small Texas city of about 1,600 people in Denton County, roughly 45 miles north of Dallas. Interstate 35E runs along the western edge, providing direct access to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, while State Highway 377 cuts east-west through town, connecting to Denton 12 miles northwest. The city operates its own volunteer fire department from a red brick station that's been serving the community since the 1990s.
