Koosharem is a tiny farming town in south-central Utah's high desert, sitting at 6,800 feet where the Sevier River valley meets the Fishlake Mountains. Reach it via State Route 62 from I-70 (Exit 71 at Fremont, then 15 miles southwest) or the scenic US-12 through Dixie National Forest. The town serves as a gateway to Fishlake National Forest and the Paiute ATV Trail system. Koosharem still operates a one-room schoolhouse built in 1904.
