Knoxville is a small Knox County seat in west-central Illinois, about 15 miles southeast of Galesburg. Take I-74 to Exit 46, then US Route 150 south straight into town. State Route 97 connects north to Galesburg and south toward Lewistown. The town of 3,200 sits amid typical Illinois prairie farmland. Its red brick courthouse from 1886 still anchors the traditional downtown square.
