Knox City is a tiny farming community in north-central Missouri's Knox County, with just over 100 residents. Highway 6 runs right through town, connecting west to the Kansas City area and east toward Hannibal. Highway 15 provides access north and south, with Kirksville and Truman State University about 25 miles south. The town serves as Knox County's seat, centered around its historic courthouse square.
