Knapp is a small Wisconsin city of 530 people in Dunn County, about 15 miles northeast of Menomonie and 60 miles from the Twin Cities. Highway 29 is the main route through town, connecting to I-94 near Menomonie for access to Eau Claire or Minneapolis-St. Paul. The community sits in the Red Cedar River valley and features a working grain elevator downtown that continues serving local farmers.
