Kirklin is a small farming town of 920 people in Clinton County, about 50 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Take I-65 north to Frankfort, then State Road 28 west for 15 miles through corn and soybean country. The town sits on flat prairie land with a continental climate. The historic grain elevator still operates along the railroad tracks that made Kirklin an agricultural shipping hub.
