Kirby is a tiny Wyoming community of 60 people in Hot Springs County, accessible via US Highway 20 about 85 miles west of Casper or 45 miles east of Cody. The town sits in high desert ranch country at 4,200 feet elevation, where Wyoming Highway 120 intersects with the main east-west route. The original railroad depot building still stands from the town's early 1900s founding days.
