Kinsman is a tiny farming village in rural Illinois, about 70 miles southwest of Chicago. Reach it via Interstate 55 to Exit 217, then head west on county roads through flat prairie farmland. The restored 1880s railroad depot now serves as the community center for this 84-person town.
