Kinney is a tiny Iron Range community in northeastern Minnesota with just 115 residents. Highway 169 connects it to larger towns like Virginia and Eveleth within 15 miles, while long-distance visitors from the Twin Cities take I-35 north to Duluth, then Highway 53 and 169 for about a 200-mile journey. The town's 1920s community hall still hosts local events.
